Purchased some endlers that apparently had camanellus worms (red worms) that snuck past quarantine and were introduced to a community tank with scaled and scaleless fish, a shrimp colony and mystery snails. Soon as the parasites were noticed, I followed the directions on the package with the secondary dose and did a full tank black out during treatment, except during feeding time as the instructions mention this med is light sensitive. Was also dosing Artemiss and Herbtana at the same time to cover my bases just in case something else snuck through.
All residents survived treatment and are thriving. No damage to inverts or scaleless fish, even the pygmy cories who tend to be a little delicate.
10 out of 10, will be ordering again to have on hand.

Oh and my tank is 10 gallons so it was 1 packet. I do not know the measurements for a smaller tank because I didn't need to treat my 2.6 gal tank.
Long Version: About half of our guppies had been wasting and lethargic for weeks, but we couldn't see any clues as to what was wrong. Erythromycin and Fritz ParaCleanse didn't seem to help, and we lost three guppies in 48 hours. Upon inspection, we finally saw camallanus worms sticking out of three of our remaining guppies.
We dosed with Fritz Expel-P per the box instructions, and dutifully vacuumed the substrate the next day, but absolutely nothing happened. The worms were still visible and still red, which I believe indicates they are still sucking blood from the fish. I emailed Fritz and they got back to me very quickly, saying (slightly paraphrased) "Expel-P won't kill any worms. The treatment only paralyzes worms to allow the fish to remove them from the GI tract more easily. Repeat doses are often necessary for more severe infections. It is is safe to use more often than the box says. The treatment should be repeated an additional time one week after the last treatment you do, to help take care of any newly hatched eggs as these are not impacted by the treatment at all."
So I went ahead and dosed the tank again. The instructions from Fritz didn't totally explain whether we needed to do water changes between doses, so the next day, we did a 50% water change, and then added yet another full dose. The powder floating down into the tank was a direct hit on a couple of adult ramshorn snails, and it paralyzed them! They actively tried to crawl away from the powder, but you could see their entire bodies shut down. You haven't seen sad until you've seen snails try to crawl away from a paralytic. :) So we moved the snails elsewhere in the tank, hoping they'd recover, and I'm happy to report they all made a full recovery within a few hours. Our elderly mystery snail and bladder snails didn't seem affected at all, nor did the other ramshorns who didn't receive a direct hit. Anyway, we figured that's about the maximum dose our snails could handle, so after that, we just left the tank alone for 4-5 days. The worms sticking out of the guppies slowly turned white, meaning they weren't sucking blood, and then got expelled. Finally yesterday, we saw the biggest guppy expel his final worm, which was freaking huge and I can't believe the guppy is still alive, but he seems happier now. So yesterday we did a gravel vacuum and water change and we're going to give them a little while to recover. We do still see at least one living worm, bright red, sticking from the smallest guppy. I don't know if he's just too small to expel the worm. But we are going to continue soaking them in this med before each water change until all the worms are gone, or the guppies can't handle it anymore. Hopefully this will work out. :) I'm grateful to Fritz for their help with these insidious vampire worms.
One other interesting thing to note is that after the first dose, we saw a few planaria crawling around our tank! We didn't even know we had those. This medicine didn't kill them but it seemed to agitate them into moving around.
I had a few fish suffering some this issue and one of them looked like they weren't going to make it. I treated my tank with the directions and my fish are doing so well! I plan on doing another treatment next week as recommended.
I recommend this product!

I have freshwater shrimp in this tank and it did not harm them.
Important note:this medication is hard on fish, and they may seem a bit “weaker” by the end of treatment. Once you do a follow up water change though in my experience my fish came back much stronger than prior to the meds. No sunken bellies, great colours and feeding response.
Also, this does not replace good tank maintenance. Keep your tank as clean as possible, that alone can prevent 99% of diseases from occurring.
Had a clown loach which was BONE thin, and couldn't gain weight no matter how much food it ate, and it ate a lot.
6 weeks after a single treatment the fish now looks normal. Had the fish for almost 2 years before treatment, didn't think this would be so effective buy it was.
Difficult to find and expensive.
Will purchase in future!
