About this item
- ❤️ Comprehensive Parasite Treatment: Fritz ParaCleanse is expertly formulated to treat a wide range of parasitic diseases in aquarium fish, including velvet (Oodinium), hole-in-the-head disease (Hexamita & Spironucleus), fish lice, and gill & skin flukes (Dactylogyrus & Gyrodactylus), ensuring a healthy environment for your fish.
- 🐟 Aquarium-Friendly Formula: Designed to be safe for both freshwater and saltwater systems, this treatment does not discolor water, harm plants, invertebrates, or uninfected fish, maintaining the aesthetic and ecological balance of your aquarium.
- 🏥 Dual-Action Active Ingredients: Containing Metronidazole and Praziquantel, Fritz ParaCleanse is not only effective against a variety of parasites but also some internal bacterial infections, offering dual-action treatment for comprehensive fish care.
- 🙌 User-Friendly Dosing: The easy-to-measure packet dosing system simplifies the application process, making it accessible even for novice aquarium enthusiasts. Bulk jars are also available for larger systems, catering to a range of aquarium sizes.
- 😊 Specific Treatment Indications: While highly effective against specific parasites, it is important to note that ParaCleanse does not treat Nematodes or Roundworms. For these, Fritz Expel-P is recommended, ensuring targeted and effective treatment for different parasitic infections.

1 packet of ParaCleanse treats my quarantine tank (10 gallons). You get 10 packets in the box, so I should have gotten 10 treatments.
I am incredibly annoyed to have gotten a package of ParaCleanse that expires in LESS THAN 2 MONTHS!!! I have never bought fish medicine ANYWHERE that had less than a year left on its expiration date. I purchased a box of Maracyn, the same day I bought this ParaCleanse, and its expiration date is the middle of 2024. So, about 2.5 years away. With this box, I got less than 2 months!!!
We only buy fish every 3-4 months so we'll use of ONE packet and have to throw the rest away. API General Cure is exactly the same medicine as this, and since they carry that brand at my local fish store, I'll just buy that from now on. What a waste of money this was!
