Normally, Kribensis will not eat their babies, they are generally fantastic parents. However, there can be factors that cause the parents to eat their fry. These include an unexpected disturbance in the tank, the presents of a predictor fish, or lack of food to raise the fry. Kribensis were the first Cichlid I ever bred.
